Now, a builder can upload a series of plans and contract information to the web, quickly select the trades and preferred subcontractors you choose to price the project who are then given permission to view the plans. Subcontractors can download the information or order required plans online. All the time the builder is able to track progress on cell phone to see whether a subcontractor has accepted or declined the invitation to price the project. Any changes to plans or Notice to Tenderers are also displayed with the project so everybody in the team you have selected to price the project, are always informed of every change. Communication and speed is the key here. |
